Gather SQL Server Performance Data with PowerShell
Presenter: Allen White, Upsearch Technology Services
Session 02: September 15 at 13:00 GMT
We all know how important it is to keep a baseline of performance metrics that let us know when something is wrong and help us track down and fix the problem. However, we don't always know how to do this easily and consistently. This session will walk you through a series of PowerShell scripts that you can schedule against SQL Server (2008, 2005, 2000) to capture the most important data and will then show you how to build reports that use that data to keep your server running smoothly.
