All About Execution Plans: Reading Execution Plans
Presenter: Grant Fritchey
In my full-day PASS Summit pre-conference seminar that this session comes from, we will cover all aspects of execution plans, from how they're created to where they are stored to how to read them and how to use them to solve common problems. This 24HOP session will cover a sub-set of that information, introducing the section on how to read execution plans. You will learn about how an execution plan is structured and the types of information you can find there. You'll take away important knowledge of where to start when reading an execution plan and how to progress through the plan. This session will also introduce several different operators and explain their functionality. All this will give you a glimpse inside the all-day seminar and prepare you for a deeper look into execution plans.
