The Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) is an independent, not-for-profit association dedicated to supporting, educating, and promoting the global Microsoft SQL Server community.
Co-founded by Microsoft and CA in 1999, PASS was created to help educate and connect millions of SQL Server users around the world. Led by a member-elected Board of Directors, PASS is run by and for the community, made up of database administrators and developers, application developers, Business Intelligence and IT professionals, executives, consultants, educators, instructors, students, vendors, and many others who work with or use Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence technologies.
With a global membership of more than 100,000 and growing, PASS strives to fulfill its mission by:
