Chicago, IL–August 11, 2009–In a dramatic first-week response from the Microsoft SQL Server and business intelligence (BI) communities, more than 1,100 people representing over 50 countries have registered for the Professional Association for SQL Server's free 24 Hours of PASS virtual event slated for Sept. 2.
The series of 24 one-hour webcasts features an exceptional lineup of SQL Server and BI experts, including speakers from the US (including Alaska and Hawaii), Australia, India, South Africa, Cyprus, Germany, and the UK. PASS chapters from around the globe will host each presentation.

24 Hours of PASS will give attendees an in-depth look at the hottest SQL Server and BI topics, including database design, performance tuning and troubleshooting, SQLCLR performance, SQL Server 2008 security, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, spatial data, text mining, data warehousing, and much more.
Each session will also feature a live question-and-answer segment.
Co-sponsored by Strategy Companion and Microsoft, the LiveMeeting webcasts will begin at 00:00 GMT (UTC) on Sept. 2, 2009 (8pm ET on Sept. 1 in the US). To determine what time each session will air in your region, see this time zone converter.
