PASS volunteers are one of a kind. Where else could you spend your time closely connecting with the industry's best database administrators, business intelligence professionals, and application developers? PASS volunteers have a hand in all aspects of the community - from setting up Chapter meetings, organizing SQLSaturday events, participating as Ambassadors at PASS Summit, and reviewing session abstracts for events, all the way to sitting on the Board of Directors. Bottom line, PASS simply would not exist without our passionate, dedicated, and hardworking volunteers from around the globe.

Outstanding Volunteer Recognition
|
Know someone in the PASS community who deserves special recognition for their consistent volunteering efforts? PASS invites you to nominate your favorite volunteers for "Outstanding Volunteers of the Month." Submissions can be sent through anytime and are reviewed on the last day of each month.
Submit nominations via email. Please provide the nominated volunteer's contact details, a brief list of the PASS volunteer programs the member has participated in, number of years in the community, and a short description of why you think they should be recognized. Chosen nominees will be announced in the PASS Connector newsletter and receive a Certificate of Appreciation.

The PASSion Award
The most prestigious PASS accolade is the PASSion Award, presented annually to a volunteer who demonstrates exceptional dedication to and enthusiasm for the Professional Association for SQL Server and the SQL Server community as a whole. Volunteers are nominated by individual Board Portfolio owners and then voted on by the entire Board of Directors. PASSion Award recipients are recognized at the annual PASS Summit. Nominations for the PASSion Award generally open two months before the start of PASS Summit.
