PASS 2013 Elections: Around the Corner

The 2013 election season is upon us. This past April, the PASS Board of Directors unanimously passed two motions that enable PASS to take the next steps in growing the organization’s international reach and influence:

  • Convert a Director-at-Large seat to a regional EMEA seat
  • Streamline the elected community representatives to the Nominations Committee (NomCom) to reflect the seat composition of the Board

Read more about the recent changes to the PASS Board composition from James Rowland-Jones' April blog post. If you're interested in hearing more about why you should run, check out these sound bites from current and former Directors of the PASS Board.

Nominations Committee (NomCom)

Applications for this year's NomCom opens June 12. The purpose of the NomCom is to review applications for the 2013 PASS Board election, verify references, interview and rank the applicants who wish to run for the PASS Board. The NomCom is comprised of the Past President of the PASS Board of Directors, a PASS Board representative, 3 community representatives elected by the PASS membership that reflect the geographic composition of the Board.
