Let Your Voice Be Heard.
October marked a major milestone for the SQL Server Community and for the PASS organization as we recently wrapped up the largest community-led SQL Server event in the world. We received some great ideas from the community that helped make PASS Summit 2011 such a success – like augmenting the First Timers program, and having more bloggers and twitter fans officially participate in the event to share updates and experiences with their peers from around the globe – but there's always room for improvement. We’re listening and we want to hear what you have to say!
Above and beyond the Summit survey sent out to attendees recently, we also have the feedback.sqlpass.org site set up to capture your thoughts and ideas – and not just about Summit – please weigh in on all PASS related programs such as SQLRally and 24 Hours of PASS. We’re continuously monitoring the site. Your contributions help make the PASS programs and events, your programs and events – so let your voice be heard. Post your suggestions about Summit while they're still fresh in your mind and vote for other ideas you see on the site that you like. We can’t guarantee that you'll see everything implemented, but we can guarantee that every idea will be closely reviewed.
It takes an active, passionate and vocal community to create the kind of incredible 'Connect, Share, Learn' experience Summit and our other programs provide. You are that community and we are listening. Some would say the community is like family: a #sqlfamily twitter hashtag has been gaining in popularity to describe the warm, cares-for-each-other kind of feeling people get in the SQL Server community. It’s another great way to participate and share your thoughts.
Thank you to each and every volunteer, speaker, attendee, and sponsor for making the PASS Summit conference the highlight of the year for so many SQL Server community members. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
