Who can submit a Pre-Conference seminar abstract?
PASS is dedicated to the professional development of its community members – most notably speaker development. In the spirit of fostering new up and coming speakers, the SQLRally program does limit its pre-conference speakers to PASS members who have not previously presented a PASS Summit 2011 pre-conference seminar.

Who can submit a regular conference session abstract?
Any PASS member. Note: the selection committee will give preference to those who have presented at at least two PASS or other well-known technical events in 2010/2011

How do I submit an abstract?

  1. Complete your speaker profile which includes a separate section for personal contact information. You must complete both pages. Be sure to complete all of the requested information.
  2. Review the speaker terms. Any speaker who is selected to present at SQLRally Dallas must adhere to all terms. If in agreement, please check the terms box and fill in the electronic signature and date sections.
  3. Enter each session abstract, one at a time. A 150 word limit is in effect for regular session submissions, 250 words for pre-conference submissions. You may submit up to two pre-conference sessions and three regular sessions.
  4. Review your submission on the Verification page.
  5. Once you have entered your submissions, you may view, edit, or delete content until the deadline acceptance date of Monday, January 23, 2012.

When will I find out if I've been accepted to speak?
You will be notified if you have been selected as a speaker by Friday, February 17, 2012.

  • To help the SQL Server community by sharing your expertise and experience
  • To enhance your reputation as a member of the SQL Server community
  • To receive a complementary PASS SQLRally Dallas conference registration.(Primary speaker only. Does not include travel expenses.)

When is the abstract submission deadline?
All abstracts must be submitted no later than Monday, January 23, 2012 at 5:00 PM PST.
