About the Speaker

Denny Lee
Principal Program Manager, Microsoft

Denny Lee is a Technical Principal Program Manager in the Microsoft SQL Server BI Group. An original core member of Microsoft Hadoop on Windows and Azure, he helped bring Hadoop into Microsoft. In addition to focusing on big data, he was formerly the Data Warehousing and BI Group Lead for the SQL Server Customer Advisory Team and co-creator of the SSAS Maestros course.

A consulting architect who enjoys working on complex technical problems, Denny is also a SME in web analytics and healthcare. He’s an avid social media participant (@dennylee on Twitter), using the forums to share deep technical learnings. He helped write Analysis Services and Healthcare Informatics (http://dennyglee.com/books-2/) and the Analysis Services Performance and Operations Guides (http://dennyglee.com/articles/). He regularly blogs on sqlcat.com and dennyglee.com.
