About the Speaker

Dana Kaufman
SQL Server Appliance Engineering, Microsoft

Dana Kaufman is a Principal Program Manager in the SQL Server group. With over 19 years of experience in the enterprise software space, he previously worked with ISVs and customers adopting Microsoft’s latest development and middleware technology as part of the Data and Modeling CAT team.

Before joining Microsoft, Dana worked on SOA security and XML middleware products, participating in several industry-standards bodies on initiatives such as WS-Security, WS-Secure Exchange, SAML, and WS-I Basic Security Profile. He also worked at Borland in the Enterprise consulting practice and founded Apogee Information Systems, a successful enterprise consulting company. An accomplished speaker, he has presented at conferences worldwide and was a contributing author on “C++ Builder 4 Unleashed.”
